AmLaw20 Firm is seeking a dynamic, highly motivated associate (Class of 2023 or Senior) to join our nationally recognized Labor & Employment Practice Group in California (Los Angeles, San Diego, Orange County or Bay Area).

 

Qualified candidates will have experience in at least of the following areas of labor and employment law:

  • temporary restraining order and temporary injunction expedited relief
  • proceedings
  • trade secret misappropriation
  • noncompete litigation
  • wage and hour class action litigation
  • union negotiations
  • advice and counseling
  • OSHA matters
  • single plaintiff employment litigation.

 

Strong legal writing skills and experience with discovery, motion practice, and researching and drafting pleadings, motions and other court filings required. Experience with trial preparation in both state and federal courts and participation in settlement conferences and negotiations preferred.

 

We are seeking a team-oriented associate with a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and an exceptional work ethic who has demonstrated client relationship and business development skills and an ability to thrive in busy, collegial environments. Top academics and experience required.

 

To be considered, a candidate must hold a JD from an ABA-approved law school and must be in good standing and an active member of the California Bar.

 

The expected salary range for this position is $260,000-$390,000. Actual pay will be determined based on education, experience, internal pay equity, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
