I’m working directly with one of the main Bankruptcy Partners of a Global AmLaw100 Firm in New York who has an active need for an Associate with 2+ years of experience.

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Location – New York (openings in other markets also available)
  • Compensation – $235k+ (depending on experience)
  • Billable – 1900-hour billable requirement
  • Description – AmLaw100 Firm; join dynamic team, advising clients in connection with its Business Restructuring practice, including (at least one of) the following:
  • Drafting and negotiating documents for complex corporate and restructuring transactions
  • Experience representing creditors’ committees, debtors, and/or institutional creditors
  • Resolving business disputes for debtors and creditors in and out of court
  • Experience in secured lending transactions and/or business bankruptcy.
  • Experience representing secured and unsecured creditors, purchasers, and other parties in interest in chapter 11 cases
  • Experience with commercial finance or distressed M&A
  • Experience with bankruptcy litigation and/or bankruptcy litigation support
  • Other related experience assisting companies in the full gamut of bankruptcy-related transactions locally and throughout the country


The associate would primarily be supporting several attorneys locally, as well as the opportunity to possibly work with Partners in other offices.  You would be an integral part of their national team.
